Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

Veskio is a player for a playlist you bring yourself. There is no account, no sign-up and no profile. This page describes exactly what stays on your device, what reaches our servers, and what we never receive.

Your playlist credentials never leave your device

The server address, username and password — or the M3U+ link — that you enter when signing in are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. They are sent to your provider's server to list and play your content, and to nowhere else. We never receive them, so we cannot see what you watch, which provider you use, or what your subscription contains.

Kept on your device only

Deleting the app removes all of it. None of it is backed up to us.

What the app sends to our servers

Two requests, and nothing else:

How a recommendation is produced

Your request and that list of titles are passed to Anthropic's Claude API, which selects matching titles and writes a one-line reason for each. Anthropic processes this on our behalf; see Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not use your data to train any model.

What we store, and why

We do not store the list of titles your playlist contains.

No advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no third-party trackers, no data sold or shared for marketing. Veskio does not ask for your contacts, photos, location or device identifiers.

Children

Veskio is not directed to children. A playlist you load can contain anything your provider carries, including material unsuitable for children, and Veskio neither curates nor filters it.

Your requests

Because there is no account, we hold nothing that identifies you beyond the records above. To ask what we hold about an IP address, or to have it deleted, write to privacy@veskio.app from the connection in question and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous version is replaced here.
